Biography
Josh has been performing audits and providing accounting services to clients since 2005. His expertise includes performing financial audits and Single Audits, helping organizations prepare for their audits, and preparing IRS Form 990’s for non-profit organizations. He has dedicated his career to working with Tribe’s and tribal enterprises, state and local governments, and non-profit organizations in New Mexico and throughout the country. Josh has developed a thorough understanding of the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), the State of New Mexico Audit Rule (2.2.2 NMAC), and generally accepted accounting principles, including accounting under FASB and GASB.

What's the most interesting thing you've learned working in a CPA firm?
You continue to learn something new each and every single day. Whether it’s your first day in public accounting or you’ve been doing this work for over 20 years, the learning and growth never stops.
What's your favorite part about working with clients?
In general, I like developing relationships with clients and learning how they operate and function. I enjoy learning about the missions and background of the non-profit organizations I get to work with. I also enjoy learning about the history and current priorities of the Tribe’s I get to work with.
What do you like doing for fun (outside of work, of course)?
Just about anything outdoors with my family. Landscaping is weirdly calming for me (my own yard, not others), but I also really enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping.
