Biography
Heather has been involved in various industries throughout her 30-year career and always seems to fall into accounting and business management. Her experience includes working within the non-profit sector, manufacturing, construction and engineering firms. She has been a full-time accountant for the last 20 years. Her passion is working with new clients to identify areas for improvement and implementing new processes and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.

What's the most interesting thing you've learned working in a CPA firm?
Most people see accounting as nothing but math but to me accounting is problem solving. Of course, the problems that we solve involve numbers but there is so much more that goes into accounting.
What's your favorite part about working with clients?
I love building relationships with clients and becoming part of their team. I like becoming a resource for them and working with them to achieve positive outcomes within the community.
What do you like doing for fun (outside of work, of course)?
I love anything that allows me to be creative. I do photography, knitting, gardening and reading. My favorite past-time is road trips with my husband to explore new places or revisit old favorites.
