Biography

Chris has been performing audits and providing accounting services to clients since 2004. His expertise includes performing financial audits and single audits and helping organizations prepare for their audits. He has dedicated the majority of his career to working with Tribe’s and tribal enterprises, state and local governments, and non-profit organizations in New Mexico and throughout the Southwest. Chris has developed a thorough understanding of the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), the State of New Mexico Audit Rule (2.2.2 NMAC), and generally accepted accounting principles, including accounting under FASB and GASB.

What's the most interesting thing you've learned working in a CPA firm?
You often work with different teams depending on the engagement. This fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and collaboration with colleagues over time.


What's your favorite part about working with clients?
Our firm’s clients rely on us for accurate financial reporting and compliance. Working in a trusted advisor role is very fulfilling.


What do you like doing for fun (outside of work, of course)?
My hobbies include skiing, hiking, mountain biking and golf.
